Note: the $8.25 accession fee will NOT be applied to poultry cases.

Companion Animals & Horses

Up to two mammals, ten birds (poultry) or four fish from a single group and with a single clinical syndrome are considered one case when submitted in the same consignment.

The fee includes:

  • necropsy
  • histopathology
  • bacteriology
  • electron microscopy (feces)
  • molecular diagnostics
  • nutrition
  • toxicology
  • virology

If additional tests are necessary, as judged by the pathologist, they are also included in the fee (except for clinical chemistry, serology and hematology tests).
