Place vials with frozen milk in a sealed plastic bag between solidly frozen freezer packs. Wrap in newspaper and place in the thick walled insulated container. Fill empty spaces with crumpled newspaper. Mailing boxes are available from the Minnesota Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.
Complete the submission form. Place in a separate plastic bag to ensure it remains dry and readable. Submission forms may also be requested by calling the lab at (612) 625-7053, faxing to (612) 624-4824 or emailing mastlab@umn.edu.
